Ron asked me to create this s octave mandolin for him with the “butterfly” by the neck joint area like I did on another instrument. I actually got asked by a few people to recreate this butterfly, but the funny thing is, is the original was not meant to be a butterfly. It was an abstract piece that came out that way.
